Shavua Tov Rabbi Avi,

 

I hope you were able to have a meaningful Shabbat in-spite of all that’s going on. Our prayers and solidarity is with you. 

How much is Kfar Vradim effected by all what’s going on? Can you tell me what’s happening?  Is there anything here we can do to help?

 

Rabbi Zelony arrived with her family on Thursday, but she will not start working until two weeks. She is getting settled in her new home with her family.

I was asked to be patient to schedule our Skype meeting, she has a lot going to take over her new pulpit. I do understand and I will try to get a date set up after the High Holidays.

 

In the meantime I attached below  an “introductory type” of first letter to get our shul to shul correspondence going. I’m including some photos about the past two week’s happenings.

 

 

One of the pictures was on the front page of the Texas Jewish Post. The photo was taking during our board meeting, after a huge community wide rally for the release of the Naftali, Gilad and Eyal. The others are from our vigil.
