HaMinyan HaMishpachti HaMasorti

Kfar Vradim

HaMinyan HaMishpachti HaMasorti, located in Kfar Vradim in the Western Galilee, is part of the Masorti Movement in Israel and the global Conservative Movement. Founded in 1996, the congregation completed its synagogue building in 2012. It serves as a vibrant center for prayer, learning, and community engagement, hosting Shabbat and holiday services, life-cycle events, and a wide range of educational and cultural activities.

The Beit Midrash offers diverse learning opportunities, including Bible study through the national 929 Project, Talmud, Jewish philosophy, weekly Torah portions, and a special children’s Torah class. The congregation also provides a year-long Bar/Bat Mitzvah program, musical events, lectures, and educational trips.

Guided by the value of Tikkun Olam, the Minyan is committed to social action. Its initiatives include distributing apples and honey for Rosh Hashanah, Mishloach Manot for Purim, and most importantly, year-round volunteer work. Members actively support Kfar Vradim’s elderly and those in need, organize cultural programs for the entire village, and participate in the Chevra Kadisha, ensuring dignity in times of loss.

The congregation also promotes interfaith dialogue and coexistence. Each year, the Sukkat Shalom Festival brings together neighboring Christians, Muslims, Druze, and Jews for shared activities that foster understanding and unity in the Western Galilee.

As a community, HaMinyan HaMishpachti HaMasorti strives to honor Jewish tradition while embracing modern values of pluralism, equality, and social responsibility – building a meaningful and inclusive Jewish life.
