He often was part of our minyan, way back to the early period when we met in the ganim. From time to time on the Chagim he would read the second torah portion. He was one of those who blew the shofar on Rosh HaShanah and on one occasion, when Eytan was abroad, he read Yonah on Yom Kippur.
